No — attendance is open to all — and we have found that membership deepens our connection.

Many people attend services, classes, and events without ever formally joining.

Being a “member” refers to choosing “invested ownership” by formally committing yourself to the well-being, sustance, and growth of the Center and the individuals & communities it serves; it's a committment to ensure it's continues availablility to all spiritual seekers.

  • Affirmation of Belief:
    You acknowledge your alignment with the core tenets of Science of Mind: oneness, the creative power of thought, and the activity of spiritual law responding to thought.
  • Living the Principles:
    You pledge to practice Spiritual Mind Treatments, meditation, visioning, and affirmations in your daily life.
  • Ethical Conduct:
    You agree to uphold integrity, honesty, and personal responsibility—reflecting “Spirit in action” in all relationships.
🤝 Community Participation
  • Voting Rights:
    Members elect our Board of Trustees and vote on important matters (e.g., by-laws, minister selection, and other major decisions that shape our community).
  • Service Opportunities:
    You’re invited to serve on committees that help shape our Center’s ministries.
🎁 Benefits & Resources
  • Spiritual Counseling and Practitioner Sessions:
    • Members can request and receive one FREE personalized spiritual counseling session per year with Rev. Rafe.
    • Members can request and receive one FREE personalized Practitioner session per year with one of our Licensed Practitioners.
  • Discounts & Scholarships:
    Members receive discounted access to workshops, classes and practitioner training.
💖 Financial Support
  • Tithing or Membership Dues:
    While there are no mandatory fees or dues, it is anticipated that members to commit to a regular giving plan (often 5–10% of income) to support the Center’s operations, staff, outreach, and growth.
  • Transparency & Stewardship:
    • Members may request and receive regular financial reports.
    • Members are encouraged to participate as stewards of how funds are used through regular communication with members of our Board of Trustees.
